How on earth is the answer for this question A?I could of sworn it was C. So confuseddd. Please help

Correct answer is A.

I don’t know if this make sense to you but the way I see triangle (prism) is not quite penetrating the square block in middle.

PS: If I didn’t know correct answer is A I would have guessed C as well. I hope I don’t see this kind of stuff in my DAT.

do you see where the tip of that triangle is at? it's at the end of the figure...project that up a little and you will get the long line in answer choice A

In order for C to work the triangle closest to us would need to be smaller. As it sits in the picture,. Two of the three points are flush with the edge of the block below it. For that reason, it would not fit into the slot on option C.
