I am stuck at a plateu. I took NBME form 1 on may 14 and got a 550 (230), and took NBME form 2 and got a 560 (232) and now I just finished NBME form 3 and recieved a 550 (230) again. I have been studying pretty intensely these past 5 weeks and have not seen any improvement. Any one else have the same problem and found a solution. I am taking my test 1 week from today so any help would be appreciated.

although this is not constructive, personally.. I'd say, go out, have a drink, and be glad that you can get fairly certain about your score... because there are people out there *ahem staphaureus* that would be willing to take your score anyday! 😀

similar here....I took nbme 3 about a month ago and scored reasonably well.....took nbme 2 today and scored only 3 pts higher.....at least we can say our highest nbme score wasn't a fluke and we have a decent idea about where we should expect our real scores to be

good point, just gets a little agravating, feels like i spent the last 5 weeks studying for nothing. I could have just taken it then and gotten the same score and had a decent vacation.

ive had a similar experience...
i took NBME 1 before i started to study about 5 weeks ago, got a 226. then i took NBME 2 2 weeks later, and got a 228. I havent taken a NBME since, didnt see a point anymore...

almost seems as if what we already knew we lost as we studied and replaced it with new information, so our score just stays the same

been doin questions, I thought I was getting better but then just got a 54% on a UWorld 50 set, and I have to take my test Monday, so I'm not sure what to make of the NBME exams.
