So at thie moment I have only heard back from one school for an interview and waiting to hear from the rest of them. So like for some of you break is coming up over december and I am going back home. So I will not be able to get my mail where I presently am when I go home. Should I call the schools and notify them about this (well the ones that dont have sec. applications)? Thanks.

Yes you should call without a doubt.

Or you can also go to your local post office and have your mail forwarded to the address where you will be staying. That might be a little less complicated.

In my experience it isn't always instant when you request an address change and he would have to reverse it eventually when he goes back. The last thing you want is a missed interview letter 😱 Its best to just call each school and say from date _ to date _ i will be at this address. After that I will be at my aadsas address. Simple and instantly effective although more work.

You can call or you can have your mail forwarded. On the little change of address post-card there is a box for you to check if the move is temporary, and then it asks for the start and end dates. Some schools won't do status checks over the phone (e.g. USC). If you must have the golden letter in your hot little hands, then I suggest that you have your mail forwarded to you.
