Know anything about Yale?

Does anyone know why for the past few years Yale seems to be open after the match? According to previous posts here, that's suppose to be a good program.

i had a bad experience there this current interview season.... plus you ever been to new haven?

Well, one thing might be the fact that the surgical residency program lost accreditation....for overworking residents. They had to do a scramble to place those folks. I understand that they now have provisional accred...

Or it might be New Haven....

I really liked the program. It seems like you would get an excellent education from leaders in their fields. Pretty long work hours though. Most of the residents seemed pretty cool.

I just think, like UVA, Yale did not rank enough people, and got burned when their choices ended up elsewhere.

Yale was awesome. Very nice people. average regional.

Does anyone else have any thoughts? I didn't meet many people, but they certainly seemed friendly. Anybody know how good the ICU training is? Peds?
