just to clarify, these are both redox reactions right? Not just simply oxidation or reduction.

And they both have reducing powers through NADPH (Calvin) and NADH (Krebs) right?

yes, you are right calvin cycle uses the energy derived from the ox of NADPH while the kreb cycle makes NADH and the electrons from that are dumped into the electron chain...
