Is anyone hear from KU? I have submitted and completed my application on Sept. 5. My premed. advisor told me that they start to interview this week. (Oct 28). Best of lucks to all.

You should probably hear soon. I submitted mine at the end of August and have an interview next week. I found out about a week ago. good luck!

Good luck with your interview. I am trying to finish the secondary today, but how do you say everything you need to in 255 characters?!?🙁 That's like 3 sentences!

haha. yeah, it was tough. it forces you to get right to the point. make sure you don't waste your characters rephrasing the question...just answer it. i'm not sure what else to tell you. good luck.

thanks a bunch. I can't wait. I thought they won't give me any chance. Anyways, I agree that KU is very conservative. Go to the point, don't beat around the bush. Also, 255 characters give you enough space to sell the best of yourself and submit it as soon as you can. Good lucks.

Good luck to both of you! I interviewed at KU about a month ago for the EDP program. (Heck, I may even know some of you from school!) Anyway, be familiar with what you put in your personal statement, and in your secondary. Also you might want to think about some ethics questions that YOU think are interesting... I was asked during my interview "There are a lot of ethical delimas that Doctors have to deal with... what is one that you are concerned with, and how would you handle it". It caught me off guard for a moment- I was prepared to answer some questions, but not to come up with my own!

I hope I see you in class this fall!

As far as I know, KU began sending out interview requests for regular admissions on Oct. 11th. The first round of interviews are for Oct. 28th & 29th. The next round isn't until the end of November. I'll be there on Oct. 29th. Also, I was told that the committee meets the day after the interview round is over and will immediately begin sending out acceptance or rejection letters. At least this way you know very quickly if your in or not. This is of course not true if they can't make a decision on you, in which case they throw your file in with the files for the next round of interviews and you have to wait a little longer. I hope you hear from them soon.
