Has anyone here interviewed with LIU? I have an interview with them on Friday and I was just wondering what to expect. Thanks and goodluck to everyone!

I havent been offered an interview and am still waiting to hear back from them... You should let me know how it goes because I really want to go there. I'm contemplating writing an email asking where they are in the process of reviewing my application because I am from OR and flying to to NY to interview at NYMC next week but really just want to go to LIU!

Do you have any idea where they are in terms of acceptances? Like how many spots they have available?

Im trying to go to LIU too Val Gal. And I havnt heard anything yet. I went to the DPT info session on Jan 23rd though and they said: "not many" When I asked how many people solidified their spots in the program. ALSO they hold interviews only about twice a month so if you didn't get interviewed yet hopefully you'll get in one for February. Im like praying I get in because my stats are extremely low, but you'll probably be fine. Also, they are VERY expensive. After the info session some of us prospectives were chatting amongst ourselves and the cost deterred many of them from applying/choosing LIU, so cost is a big factor.

So, do you think it would be advisable to email LIU and ask them where my application is in the review process and whether Im going to get an interview or not? haha I am scared because I don't want to come off as obnoxious or presumptuous but I really really want to go there....

I think it would be ok because I have emailed them several times prior to visiting the school and they didnt seem to have a problem with it. I think they'll just see you as a very interested candidate and you're very serious about the application process. That's my opinion. But if you do decide to email them just make sure you structure the email in a very humble way.

Hey everyone! I just got offered a phone interview with LIU-Brooklyn on March 4th! Whoohoo! Haha anybody else out there get an interview as well? If you have been through the interview process already, would you be able to let me know how it was? I'd really appreciate the help!

I did a phone interview on January 21st and just received an acceptance letter by snail mail today. Won't be going though.. too much money.

Interviewed early December and received an acceptance late December by email and snail. Put a deposit down and now waiting on other schools.
