So at my school all the Bio Labs are upper division and there are no labs associated with the intro bio courses. 😕
Would taking a 4 quarter unit Bio lab satisfy the lab requirements for most schools? I am not a bio major so I don't want to take 16 units(3 quarters) worth of Bio lab if I don't have to. :scared:

Most schools ask for a year of labs associated with the introductory classes. However, in your case, I'd start e-mailing or calling individual schools you want to apply to and ask their advice. Most of the time, they are very helpful.

hmm... sounds like you go to ucsd. if you take the upper div bio lab you're fine.

Check what older pre-meds at your school have done. It seems a little bit odd to me, but I'm sure at your school, hundreds of people found the best solution and successfully applied to medical school. See what the word on the street is, ask upperclassmen or an advisor.

how upper are we talking about? I took microbiology lab that was 300 and it was loads easier than my 200 level molecular bio course.
