Hi all

I am sure many of you guys are getting a lot of questions on Covid testing from the medical community you support.

couple of things I have seen recently that might be helpful.

the positive rate of asymptomatic patients in Vo Italy (article attached) is about 3%. N = 3300

one other observation that goes against data that came out of China. in patients in US who get RSV, flu testing and Covid testing the rate of co-infectionwith Covid + a second pathogen is a lot higher than 2% (Chinese reported this). It may be as high as 20%.

I have seen so much data on the varying positive rates of asymptomatic patients that I don't trust any of it, except to acknolwedge that the rate of asymptomatic positive patients is definitely measureable.

This stuff changes day to day, facts one day change the next day.
