Anyone required to do a drug test for LabCorp? Its a 9-screen drug test.
Code is 731612
I was wondering if anyone has done this and if they could inform me whether it is a HAIR or URINE or BOTH.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the site. Too bad it doesn't have the code I'm looking for....

Yes that is too bad.

I take it you have a lab request form? Sometimes these forms provided by your physician's office can be out of date.

Nonetheless, why don't you just call labcorp and ask them?

You can find info by looking at the test menu on labcorp.com search "drug" and you can find the 9-panel in the list. Its a urine drug screen, they do thousands a day, don't try to screw with it (cheaters were caught daily in my area when I worked as a Patient Services Supervisor there). Getting caught tampering looks even worse than failing to many of the clients I had when I was there.

Yup, Zigzagkush was picked for a purpose. Anyways, found out it's just a urine test, and thanks for all the info guys. So I should be good! And don't worry, I wont try to cheat, I can clean my system in no time!

I just took my UDS for residency and they were clear. Get caught cheating and you won't be allowed to retest for a year. Hence, bye bye residency. (Note: I have no reason to cheat anyways).

Anyone know if Labcorp uses 20 ng/ml or 50 ng/ml cut-off for drug screen? Or has anyone taken the test (code: 731612) that would know this? I am currently passing the home test, but that is a 50 ng/ml cut-off. Thanks in advance!

Thank you for renewing my faith in the healthcare system. 🙄

Is regularly smoking weed really worth the potential ramifications of getting caught (assuming you're already in medical school and have more to lose than most people who regularly consume it)?

My school only has 1 drug screen between pre-clinical and clinical years. I know plenty to classmates and upper/lowerclassmen who do stuff. People can be pretty smart about not getting caught, especially if it's not a regular occurrence and not done when they have responsibilities to attend to..

Your typical millenial med student wants the glory without the added responsibility. There was a thread here once about a medical student who want to also dope up on steroids and was wondering whether he would be caught on urine screen.

I may be inclined to agree with you about the millennial generation as a whole, but I'm not convinced this is a prevailing attitude amongst most millennial medical students (though admittedly this is coming from anecdotal experience at one school). On a different but related note, there are a handful of students in my class who expect a ridiculous amount of hand-holding and spoon-feeding, but there are at least as many of us who disagree with those people. I'm grouping these students in with the OP and the steroid user you mentioned because of what appears to be a common immaturity/sense of entitlement. I don't think these people make up the majority of medical students, but they definitely aren't hard to come by.

Those darned kids. haha. Because not wanting to get caught smoking weed is something that only the iphone generation would desire???
