i'm curious too...not so much because i'm bad at them...in fact i'm very efficient...it's just that i'm too lazy and i find them so tedious haha.
We have two semesters of compounding labs, but no "experiments". We learn basic compounding. We also have a practice lab, in which you learn needed skills such as taking BP, blood glucose, etc. and you learn the proper use of all kinds of stuff. They're not bad, and don't really take up much time at all!
I don't know if this is true of all schools, but the ones I interviewed at test you on your compounding skills. After you make something, they test it to make sure you put in the right ingredients and amount.

Good to know, since I tend to drop, spill and break things.
I currently hold the record in my class. In one period, I broke my 300ml, 400ml, and 500ml beakers, a round bottom flask, and spilled concentrated sulfuric acid all over my bench.
To date, in addition to those items, I've broken a 25ml Erlenmyer flask, a 100ml beaker, and a thermometer. I'm a walking calamity in laboratories. I should be banned, really.
At least you didn't set anything on fire!!!i'm just glad that we won't be titrating until the solution turns purple, then recording the volume, then tossing the solution and repeating for 3 hours.
biochem labs are just as equally tedious
