Hi all,

If you have any information as to a lab that might STILL have a vacancy, I would so appreciate a PM!

I've been cold-calling and emailing for about 2 weeks without any luck. Really hoping to find a 1 or 2 year spot starting this September (or sooner!!)

Most labs are already filled since this is the peak for turnover. I think end of September is end of fiscal year so it is a bit unusual to start then.

There is not a good way to figure out which labs have openings. Sign up for ClubPCR (on google since yahoo is getting phased out) since some people post lab openings in there, but is is rather rare.

I did receive an email that there is a post-bac research associate opening in a lab at JHU so I can send you the message if you are interested.

Last summer, I emailed a large number of scientists asking if they had an opening in their lab along with a personal statement and resume. A lot of them replied back within a week saying that they had vacancies.
