Which school are you talking about that requires a language?

There is a language requirement for almost all the bachelor programs. Nowadays, more and more people have gained BS/BA before they start pharm school. So I guess that's why pharm schools don't require it. IT's more like the liberal education and pharm school I think deals more with the technical aspect of the professions.

Are any of you finding that language is a requirement for admissions into a college of pharmacy? My pre-pharm program did not include language in order to graduate, I find it hard to believe that pharmacy schools require 2 semesters of a language. Any suggestions on which language is best to take? Thanks. Happy Cinco de Mayo :hardy:

My school requires a language, however, if you took it in high school, they'll let you use that. You might check into that, cause I've never heard of a school not letting you use high school foreign language.
