Hi,
I personally think that carrying a backpack would be far more easy on yourself. Carrying the laptop case over one shoulder can be a real pain if you have quite a bit of walking to do (to and fro the subway station). It might not be that fancy but it works better on the back and shoulders.

Life or death? Ok, I'll post.
I have an over the shoulder regular laptop bag. I can barely stand to walk to my car with it 40 feet away. It is so heavy (and we have small laptops) and my shoulders start to get irritated right away. If I was on a subway everyday, I would for SURE get a backpack type for laptops. Check www.targus.com They have good stuff.

At my school we received laptop bags, but students rarely use them. I say get a backpack and if you want to carry the laptop get one of those small laptop skin cases that are hard. It'll protect the computer and it'll be easy on your back and shoulders.
I just bought some red shoes, are they good enough or should I buy some blue ones? Please help.

I have that bag. Since I carry my laptop pretty much everywhere and I didn't want to get an extra computer sleeve for it to put into my bag, I had to get a bag with lots of padding for the computer compartment.

Any suggestions for a designer bag that will hold a laptop? My wife uses a backpack now that looks kind of stupid when she is all dressed up. She has especially hinted that she wants a Coach bag, but I'm not sure if any of their bags are useful for laptop/school use. Has any of you fashion conscience students out there addressed this issue...any suggestions?

Kate Spade has some, I've seen them at Bloomingdales. Coach has some on their website, but as a female, I don't find them to be very feminine. Google it, I see that Prada makes a laptop bag so I'm sure the other labels have them too.
