Are there dental schools that require students to purchase a specific laptop from the school?

The school I am attending requires a macbook that meets certain tech standards, however it did not need to be purchased through the school. Many schools do not have specific computer requirements.

Yes, some require it. I know that UF does for sure.

ECU has a mac-based program.

MWU throws it in your fees. I needed a new one anyway, but I don't like that its forced. You pick either a Dell or MBP. Two people chose the Dell.

You have to have a laptop, but it doesn't matter what it is, though they told us it should be "virtually new".

OP: I remember at my UConn interview that they have a specific laptop you are required to buy through the school.
