I think it might be a good idea to hold off on this purchase. Because my school gave me a laptop and bunch of accessories including warranties on lost/stolen/malfunctioning, charging me on tuition. When I interviewed, I noticed this trend where quite a lot of schools than I had assumed are doing this.
