Hello Dental Students,

I am a senior at undergrad, and I applied to dental school this cycle -- so I am hoping to get in. Anyway, I am planning on buying a new laptop before this school year starts. However, I was wondering if I should splurge and get a sony or like a 1,500 laptop or a more affordable dell/gateway. I would probably use the dell for only this year and buy a new one next year. Since I would (hopefully) go to d-school next september, would I need to buy a new laptop for school? Or, shall I just buy a good one now so I could also use it in d-school. OR, even the best deal would be to buy a dell now and still be able to use it for dental school. What did you do?

If I were you I would get a good one and end it there.
Using dell coupons you can get some really kickass deals.

I'd wait until you figure out which school you get into. Some schools make you buy a computer when you get there, and it has to be their specific computer. It would suck to buy one now, and then find out that you have to buy another one because your school requires it.
