Do any of the schoos require you to purchase certain laptops/specific laptop programs?

UC Davis has a required laptop; you can either get a specific tablet PC or a specific Macbook.

At Kansas State all the new students get a new tablet PC that the school chooses. You pay for it through tech fees each semester.

Illinois now (for the past two classes) requires a laptop and highly recommend a tablet. I can't imagine surviving without one, even though I still tend to print off hard copies to study from.

Optional at OKState, but they have some that you can get though the school... not really any cheaper, but there is a great warranty. It even covers if like, a horse steps on it. Which might be possible in vet school. 🙂
