Hi All,
I just wanted to get your opinions on lasik surgery. I have searched what some have said about it but i feel my situation is slightly different. So, Im entering dental school next year and really want to get lasik surgery. I know most people would say to just wait. However, my vision is very bad, -10.5 bad. And i fear that if i wait too long, my vision will get worse and make me unqualified for lasik later on. What do you all think, should i get it done or wait?

This is not the place to seek a medical opinion.

See a refractive specialist about an informed opinion; there is much more to consider about your prospects as a LASIK candidate than refractive error. No internet forum could or should substitute for that.

Again, this is not an appropriate place to direct this kind of inquiry.

If your refractive error is not stable, you should probably not get refractive surgery. I am not sure what surgery has to do with you entering dental school.
