I was hoping to start a thread where people would post which school they have recently withdrawn from, (after an acceptance, of course) as well as post if they have recently been accepted. I am moving forward with re-applying for next cycle but i just thought this could be helpful for those of us in "wait-list" status. Even if its for false hope! 🙂 Please give the actual date that you withdrew as well as recently accepted!!! Thanks!!!

Withdrew from NYU, 2.5K down the drain. But you gotta do what you gotta do I guess. Good luck future dentists!

What do you mean "2.5K down the drain"? Where did u end up choosing then?

I guess he paid to hold the position but end up going to another school
 
hey mityaz, when exactly did you withdraw?
 
I am most likely withdrawing from NYU soon (by mid May). Although I will miss my $2500 heavily.

early April. Don't remember the exact date but I remember it was Monday. Hope it helps.
 
I will be faxing my intent to withdraw from BU some time next week. I'm going to UW instead 😀

did I say something wrong?? I tried to make my decision as soon as possible so that someone else could sleep at night; I know what waiting for an acceptance is.

Hey congrats! Where are you from? Im trying to organize a meet on Facebook, so far we have like 5 people that want to meet. Check it out! (its the SB dental class of 2014).

looks like we're all in the same boat. not to many of us left from 2010 cycle. lets not give up hope, keep the faith and keep this thread alive.
 
what? no one withdrew from anywhere this week, just those who posted so far? c'mon i know there are more of you lucky multiple depositors out there!!! No hard feelings really. give us hope, maryland or temple anyone?
 
anyone withdraw from Buffalo recently besides dentalaee and fsddsms? would love to hear something to give us people on the waitlist hope!

BAD news! On Friday I contact the 2 school I was waitlisted and they told me that so far people had turned in all 2nd deposits, meaning there's few chances for us. I cried all weekend, but after getting over with it I'm just trying think positively for next cycle. They also told me that my application will be active till orientation which is kind of like a little hope.
