I start med school in a week and I had my last shift yesterday/last night...

I'll pick up shifts periodically during school but I'm still kinda sad to close that chapter in my life🙁

I had similar regrets initially. I was pretty happy as a paramedic.

You won't believe all the stuff you are about to learn! You won't believe how much you will suck at IV's and ETT's in about 2 months!

Good luck! Med school is awesome.

I still work 10 hours / week about, I got in over my head 1st year working 36 hours / week and grades suffered so don't make the same mistake.

i went through the same thing about 1.5 weeks ago! i only plan to go back to work with my partner. i will miss her.

Haha, I ended my last day...on vacation. I had 2 weeks lined up and turned in my 2 weeks notice the day before leaving. This place would have nixed the leave had I given more warning.
