Last Minute Fall Schedule Change

Hey guys, I just decided to add another class to my fall schedule (only 3 credits). It's not a prereq for any dental schools but I was wondering if I need to contact schools to tell them about this change? Since most schools specifically ask for your course schedule (ie UW, UCSF) and now it'll be a little different than what I told them since I'm adding a new class. Do I contact them? Does it matter since it's not a prereq? Not quite sure what to do.

some schools specify that you need to contact them if there's a change, but other than that, I would wait for academic update

How do I update it for the academic update on AADSAS? I just looked at it and I can't make any changes to my planned/in progress section of my coursework.
