Alright, I only have one semester left of college and am starting to feel panicky about solidifying my GPAs once and for all. (I am taking a gap year)
As it stands now, I have a sGPA of 3.65 and a cGPA of 3.72. I was not planning on taking any science classes in my final semester, so my sGPA was going to stay at a 3.65.
I have space for an elective, which I was considering using to take a science course but it would only raise my sGPA to a 3.66 so I didn't think it was worth it.
I was messing around with my schedule and was wondering if it would be worth it to take the following classes (that would also fulfill graduation requirements) in an effort to bring my sGPA to a 3.7
Sensation and Perception
Seminar in Behavioral Neuroscience
They are both listed in the Psych Department which is why I feel iffy about it, but if those two classes counted, along with a 3 credit Bio class (and I got As in all three of them) it would raise my science GPA to a 3.697.
Reaching a 3.7 sGPA feels like a huge accomplishment, but I would just be really annoyed if they wound up not being counted in the end as I was planning on taking three other courses with better professors in 'easier' classes.
So......what would you do? is the 3.65 to 3.7 jump worth it? is there too much uncertainty?
THANKS 😀
