Hi guys I was just wondering ,
in the last week I plan on doing a review of the first aid for step 1.
Do you guys recommend I do it following DIT (12 hrs/day) or doing it on my own (75pgs/day ), just reading?

Also, what the top 5 NBMES to take before the exam ?
thanks in advance 😉

I just read first aid with a big highlighter the last week! I don't think DIT is a good idea...it's too much for one week. Also why do you want the top five nbmes...you have time for one at the max. Have you taken other practice tests? If they were above 215 I wouldn't waste a whole day by taking another. > 215 you're definitely going to pass. You don't get answers or explanations so don't waste your time Now just cram like you've never crammed before!!!

Ohh ok. Nbme 7 is supposedly accurate, although it seemed to me like the question stems are too short. 11 and 12 are good too. Depending on the scores you get, I don't know why you'd spend time doing more than that. They eat up a huge chunk of your time and you don't learn much from it. I know I know. The makers of step wrote those questions and the more questions you do the better you are at pacing yourself. But Uworld does just as good of a job. And you get explanations. Your time is much better spent there. Now if you take one and it's less than 210 ish. Then keep taking them until you get > 215. Other than that ...it just doesn't make sense to spend all that time to basically learn nothing.
