I got a 388 on my first try back in July 2014.. I've done DIT (June '14), BBC (October-December '14), COMQUEST (June '14), and currently doing COMBANK (~70% done with average of 62%), and completed only about 500 questions on UW (59% average).

For the last 2 months or so I have been burnt out and I think I developed an anxiety issue due to this being my second time taking the test. I slowed down a lot doing COMBANK: went ~100 questions/day with review on Dec/Jan to only about 50 questions/day the last 2 weeks... if even that.

Right now I'm getting worried because my test is in February 19th and recently my COMBANK scores have been dropping.. In December, I was scoring ~70% on COMBANK, but I took COMSAE A and only got 431, so I did not want to risk it and postponed the test till February. This last week, I'm scoring in the low 60s/high 50s/ and even hitting low 50s... it's really demoralizing, and I'm thinking I should stop doing questions and just re-read FA 2013 (with my notes) for the next 2 days and take COMSAE C on Sunday.

I feel that I need to take the test no matter what I score on the COMSAE (even if it is <400), because I don't know if I can keep studying anymore. This test is eating me up and I need to just get it over with. I just want some confirmation on whether just reading the FA these last few days(and not doing questions) and taking a COMSAE as practice right before the test is a decent idea.

Sorry that this post turned out to be somewhat of a rant.

Thanks

My school said Form C is most accurate of current COMLEX (and Form D but that's only offered by some schools) and you should try and score over 450 on the COMSAE form C since you do not want to risk having another board score failure. I had similar scores so I'm just trying to warn you before you get into a mess.

I know how you feel and it's stressful, demoralizing and depressing knowing you're working so hard and your classmates are moving on without you, but I KNOW you can do it. You already got over 400 on one of the practice tests so you are capable of passing. You might be burned out but based on all the resources and time spent, but either give it all you got in this last week or take time off. Since you already took the year off, perhaps take a week or 2 off of no studying and take it in March or April IF you don't get above 450. Finish strong with review of First Aid and OMT review. Best of luck! If you do score over 450, based on being burned out, just pray and take it. Also based on official AOA COMSAE standards:

Lower than 350:

Poor Performance

351 – 450:

Borderline Performance

451 – 550:

Acceptable Performance

Higher than 550

Good Performance

That's just my advice but know your peers are out there encouraging you to succeed and I know you can do it🙂
