Hey guys,

I was wondering about how long it takes to hear back from the schools you applied to, such as secondary forms etc. I just submitted my Primary Jan. 2nd, so I assume it will take 2-3 weeks to process then they'll contact me soon after?

It is very school dependent. Most got back to me within a week or two of downloading my app. Some have a secondary that is available online, some will send it to you by email or a link. Also, there was a thread recently that asked this very question, you may want to search for it as I think some people have listed the specific length of time it took to hear back from schools.

The last that I heard a few weeks ago was that it was taking 6-8 weeks to have your primary application verified by AACOMAS. It took an additional 1-2 weeks on average to receive secondaries from most of the schools that I applied to. After submitting my secondaries it was another 1-2 weeks for them to confirm the receipt. The majority of my interviews were offered 2-3 weeks after confirming my secondary application. So based on that (I am making assumptions that the timeframes are still about the same), you are looking at 2-3 months from the time that you submit your primary application till your receive interview invites. Unless you are a highly qualified applicant you may want to be prepared that you may need to apply again next year. It is just that it is getting late in the application period. I wish you the best of luck, and I hope that the dates I gave above have gotten significantly shorter!

it took 8 weeks for them to process my primary (submited oct 26th). and some schools sent my secondary the next day (3 of 5) 2 took a week. I applied in the middle of oct and have already been told if i had applied earlier I would have gotten in there this year (a hint to reapply?). Only finished 3 secondaries found out 2 schools were basically already full. one interview left. wish me luck, and the same to u
