Late aways/needed?

hey all. Pretty late in third year and considering anesthesia but feel like always are filled and also not sure if I need them. Any thoughts on my application?


-step1 : 245
-Middle third of class, decent third year grades but not great (burned out)
- lotta research experience, mostly outside of anesthesia but also a good project in anesthesia.

Do I have a chance in cities like NY, Chicago, etc?
