So it turns one of my evaluators is not going to be able to submit his evaluation until Sunday. My application is otherwise complete/submitted. I know VMCAS will allow eLOR submissions until October 15th. Does anyone know how the schools really do view this? I know it is at their discretion to refuse a late letter, but it seems like it's hardly in the applicant's control in many cases...! :scared:

I only applied to the UK schools. I know that Edinburgh actually ended up allowing people to apply late spring when space opened up. That gives me some hope!

That is a complete relief to hear. My academic rec totally dropped the ball. I even talked to him on Thursday to make sure he had all the information since I had a terrible time making contact and he said he would finish it that day. Gahhhhhhhhhh. Luckily only 1 of the schools I applied to requires a letter from an academic source and I had 3 other letters written. It's just so frustrating, especially since I kept sending reminder e-mails and left phone messages to make sure everything was ok. I would hate to have spent all this money and have schools throw out my app because of something in many ways is not in my control.

Hopefully it all works out.

This is just a side note But Im glad Im not the only one applying international!
