Late LOR?

If I were to submit my LORs in August would that be too late?
On top of that my LORs are going to be very generic since I don't really have a relationship with my Profs. (bad mistake)
If I were to build a good relationship with my prof and ask for a LOR for November would this be too late?

If you literally ask now, isn't it plausible to obtain them by July-ish? August might be okay but November is late

believe me I'm going to get them ASAP. I was just curious for a time frame
