I have run into a bit of a dilemma with my application for a transitional year. I am applying to Rad Onc, and sent two rad onc, a family medicine, and a heme/onc letter from a subinternship to the TY programs. Unfortunately, my heme/onc letter has not been turned in yet. The author has had some family emergencies, vacation plans, etc. He says he can get the letter in by next week.
My question is, will programs stop downloading LORs after the application due date (Nov 1) or will they continue to accept letters? If they do not continue downloading, I guess I will have to assign another rad onc letter as I did not get any "backup" medicine letters.
Thanks for the help!
