Hey everyone,
I began my full time job in the midst of sending in secondaries which completely distracted me from the process. Is it too late to submit secondaries? I am also a URM, low stat applicant

Not for URMs, but how low stat is low stat?

3.4sgpa, 503 MCAT(123/127/123/130).

I submitted 20 primary applications through MD since I have FAP but now I regret it since I may not be able to apply to them all (Submitted only 4).

I only have 3 DO Schools on my list (Des Moines, LECOM, and MSUCOM). I've submitted my LECOM app, waiting on next steps from Des Moines, and working on my MSUCOM secondary at the moment.

It isn't "too late", but it is certainly late for MD. Fine for DO.

I am having a hard time finding a good DO school list. So far my list includes LECOM, MSUCOM, and Des Moines. Do you have some advice for my stats (3.4,503) ?

VCOM
PCOM
CUSOM
ACOM
AZCOM
All Touros
CCOM
KCOM
KCU
Both Westerns
Thank you so much for this school list. Do you have any advice about sending in MD secondaries now that you know my stats?

I recommend:
Your state schools
ALL HBCs, including UCLA/Drew
U VM
Albany
Rush
Drexel
NYMC
Temple
Tulane
Wayne State
Netter
SLU
EVMS
Seton Hall
Rosy Franklin
Loma Linda (only if you are SDA or a very devout Christian)
Loyola
WVU
MCW
Oakland-B
Uniformed Services University/Hebert (just be aware of the military service commitment)
NovaMD
TCU.UNT
Your state school(s).

Any DO program. Include UNECOM if you’re from the NE, OSUCOM if you’re from the Plains states and PacNW if you’re from that region. I can't recommend Nova, BCOM, ICOM and LUCOM, for different reasons. MSUCOM? Read up on Larry Nasser and you decide. LMU has an accreditation warning, which concerns me. CUHS is too new and appears to be too limited in rotations sites. UIW refuses to post their Boards scores, which is fishy.

Thank you so much your advice has been extremely helpful.

For whatever it’s worth I got my secondaries 2 cycles ago in early July and didn’t complete any of them until mid October because some personal stuff happened. I’m URM but wasn’t really low stat so take that with a grain of salt

Im going to throw my name in the ring and see what happens. The worst I can get is a no and I will simply submit earlier, if I have to try again another cycle. Thank you for your response though.

What was the result? Did you get in that cycle? Did you get multiple interviews?
