Late to interview

What do you guys think is appropriate if you're late to an interview? In my case they told me to show up to the school at 11AM and I was 20 minutes late. It wasn't exactly lateness to the interview itself, I just had to catch up to the tour group. I called ahead to tell them I was going to be late.

Does anyone think this will hurt my chances?

I don't know the correct answer to this, but since you did not technically infringe upon anyone's time, especially your busy interviewer, I would not worry to much. I just hope you apologized to the admissions office and explained your situation.

It's good that you thought ahead and called in. They will look at that as a good characteristic for a doctor.😀
