Latest date anyone has received an interview invitation

I was just wondering when the latest date (you, if you are a reapplicant... or someone you know or heard of) someone has received an interview invite in previous cycles. Are most invites sent by the end of October, or can you receive invites into February etc? I don't mean interview dates. I mean the the date that you receive the email or letter stating that you are invited to interview. Does anyone have any feedback? Thanks!

I got an interview late January but Im sure others have gotten them even later than that. Interviews in November and December are not uncommon.

It (obviously) depends on the school and their program deadlines. Schools with earlier deadlines will give out interviews earlier than those with later deadlines. Common sense, I know. Some will extend interviews beyond that for alternate seats, although this is probably becoming more and more uncommon as schools are selecting better applicants to interview in the first place.

Hi, I'm interested in getting into VCU but I haven't heard from them yet. Since you got an interview, I wanted to ask you how it went and whether or not you're a residence of VA or not.

Actually, my interview isn't until October 23, but to answer your question, I am a resident of New York. I did attend VCU to get my Master's though. Good luck to you. Lord knows I need some luck myself. 🙂

I received an invite in January for the last group interview in February for University of Michigan. I was placed on the alternate list, however I knew someone in the same group interview as me that got in to UofM.
