Latest Time to take DAT

I was wondering what would be the latest time one could take the DAT if they wanted to be one of the first in the application cycle? Late June, early Julyish...?

Hey.

I had the very same question. I contacted most schools and this is what they told me. Have your application completed by end of August. So that means, DAT scores IN, LOR IN, all other components of application. The only grey area is the transcripts. Those take time to be reviewed and processed. This is my plan. I am going to apply with everything but the DAT in early June, take the DAT on July 14. That way, I will have everything done by August.

Good question. I'm in the same boat. I'm hoping to submit my app by end of May and take the DAT mid June. Hopefully that will still put me w/in the first round of apps for review. I'll call some Dental schools and get their opinion and let you guys know.

I think early July works for most schools.
