Hi, I am a junior right now and am applying this cycle. I am going to send in my application around June 10th but with taking many hours this semester, I have yet to start studying for the DAT. What is the absolute latest I should take it to still be considered an early applicant and not be in an inferior position for taking it late. Thank you for your time.

By August 31st

really... that seems pretty late...

I talked to my advisor and he said that June-July is definitely early.

August is late early/early middle.

September is late middle/late early.

October + is Late Late.

If you get it in by June-August. You should be in good shape for interviews etc. You gotta realize most of the people on SDN are gunners, which want their Ap's considered immediately. Not saying its a bad thing, but these/we are the minority.

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong on the dates thing.

FYI. I'm submitting mine around Late July.
