Hi everyone!

So I'm a little confused about this. I thought that in the law of segregation, a pair of alleles separate, but in independent assortment, genes assort independently. In Destroyer, it says genes separate from each other.

Is it saying the same thing then? Confused...

Please help me out. Thanks!

Yes. Of course. Genes are composed of alleles.
