Hopefully it goes through. This is how tons of puppy mills are staying in business--through unsuspecting internet buyers who are shown pictures of puppies sleeping in beds with kids and are toted as "family-raised." HA!

The law restricts the name and privileges of "puppy retail stores" to stores only with physical locations that people can inspect for themselves. It basically removes a loophole that allowed internet sellers to pose as retail stores and get away with selling poorly bred, prematurely weaned, sick animals.
