Learning how to match

Noob question here: is there a typical way set up to learn from people at your school who matched well how they made it happen? Do schools offer some kind of network to graduates for asking stuff like that, or provide info to current students if you want to speak with someone you spotted on their match list?
 
I'll slightly disagree with @Goro... as a premed, you should already appreciate the networking you have as an undergrad to learn from people who made it to medical school, using your network with alumni who might have succeeded in matching or practicing in a desired specialty. Typically the prehealth office is there to help you.
