Does anyone know of good resources that teach EMG's and muscle/nerve anatomy in a manner similar to something like First Aid? Are there any good mnemonics or acronyms? I'm just trying to memorize all this in a way that it will stick.

Easy EMG is a pretty good resource - small, paperback book with very clear illustrations.

agreed- Easy EMG for a pocket book is a good start
or EMG secrets, though the format can get a little tiring trying to read it. there are alot of good pearls in it though...

For a text: the classic Preston and Shapiro is very EASY to read and learn from.

Unfortunately the topic of EMG/NCS is beyond mneumonics you really need to understand it so you can trouble shoot while you are doing it...

Agree. Easy EMG is a reasonable place to start for the beginner. For something more substantial, P&S seems to be the go to text for many.

For anatomy - get yourself an EMG anatomical guide like Perotto or Leis. Essential.
