Do we have to know it in details? or would knowing the hormones and phases be sufficient?

When I was studying the menstrual cycle, I only studied the hormones and phases. The only questions I came across that related to the menstrual cycle were the phases of the various hormones, like LH, and when they peaked in relation to other hormones. If I remember correctly, sometimes the peak of one hormone occurred when another hormone was completely absent. Basically, those graphical relations of the hormones is essentially what you need to know from my experience.
