I am starting residency this year after taking a year off and I am going to have about 40 minute commute. This may be just over-enthusiasm but I was thinking that I might as well learn something while driving. Can anyone recommend Audio course that would have pediatric board related content without putting me to sleep.
Thanks in advance.

I can't say that I recommend any of the below choices, but I have been doing some research on Pediatric Audio Board Review Courses. UCLA, Cleveland Clinic, and Children's National all offer MP3 format lecture series @ ~$1200! Kind of pricey, but perhaps worth it given the long commute!

Although neither is board review, both of these podcasts (search for them on iTunes) are very well prepared and informative

ICURounds - done by a burn doc at Vandy, these podcasts cover all sorts of issues related to the ICU (most are adult/child applicable)

Pediacast - done by a gen peds doc at nationwide, he has produced 150+ hour long podcasts that are a mix of parenting discussions, medical news, and answering parents' questions about illnesses, etc.

If you really want them, I suppose it couldn't hurt to ask your PD if you could get partial reimbursement from your educational fund.
