I applied to Dental school twice: back in 2004 (interviewed, wait-listed, did not get picked) & 2005 (interviewed, did not get picked).

Since it is 2011, do the schools really "know" that I applied 6-7 years ago and do they have an actual copy?

My application is competitive....I don't have anything to hide and I have done a lot since 2004...I was just thinking about putting no and hoping to start "Fresh."

Thoughts?

dont lie over something that is useless, because the risk greatly outweighs the rewards. If you get caught in a lie, you are toast.

French toast sounds amazing for dinner. mmmm

this is such a stupid thing to lie about.... There is no harm in telling the truth, but the potential consequences if they catch you could be mild-to-serve

why take the risk?

If anything it will help you...it shows you haven't given up on becoming a dentist and you took time to beef up your application.

I am pretty sure they are asking if you have ever applied, not have you applied recently. There is NO reason to exclude that info.
