Hello,

I am one month into a one year fellowship in a procedural speciality. Due to a variety of factors (stress, burnout, depression, logistical issues) I am strongly considering leaving the fellowship. I have a history of depression, which required taking a one month medical leave during residency, but I don't see that amount of time solving my current problems. Should I seek a medical leave from the whole fellowship? (I understand it's not ideal in the middle of fellowship and I feel bad for my co-fellows, but I'm not sure I can go on with this)

Thanks.

The other complicating factor is that I moved to another country for fellowship so I haven't had a chance to establish a relationship with a new psychiatrist and it's very difficult to find a new one. I'm planning to go to an urgent care today.
