Rising costs associated with malpractice insurance had me considering stopping practicing OB and sticking strictly to GYN. Does anyone else have any stories or any thoughts on the matter?
For example:
How has it affected your bottom line?
Are you still busy enough to work 4-5 days a week?
Did you transfer patients that you later diagnose as a pregnant to another
doc or handle their pregnancies and refuse new moms?
I would love to join a practice where I could simply do the GYN part and have another doc to see the OB patients.
Thanks in advance for any info you could share.
