GPA:3.5
sGPA3.5
NonSGPA:3.7

Thanks for this. I apologize if you have answered this previously, but what are your thoughts on the PBL at LECOM? Were you looking for a PBL school? Do the students like/dislike PBL? Is it really a "teach yourself" kind of curriculum? Any insights on it (good or bad) would be appreciated.

Love it love it love it. I have applied for Lecom this cycle- top choice! I just love this school. What do you think about sending letters of intent or calling to let them know it's my top choice? I have 3.7 cgpa, 3.5 sgpa and a 22 AA and nothing under 20. Also, what color is your class scrubs? Do you have any idea what class of 2023 would be? Not that it matters terribly but i am curious to know..

No idea, I am a D1 and we are still in orientation technically, wont start PBL for a while, general consensus from upper class men is that it kinda sucks to get used to when you start but then becomes normal and helps with boards.

Questions about applications go here: *** The Official LECOM Class of 2023 Interview/Acceptance Thread *** although I would wait till much later to be sending any intents

Our class is wine (like a burgundy color) which is what the current D4's wear 2023 will likely be blue which is what our current D3's wear, 2024 will be green which is what the current D2's wear

I didn’t know having a P/F curriculum decreased chances of specializing? I feel like more schools are becoming P/F.

I didnt think so either since the ADAT was released but thats the reason they gave us

Hey if you guys are looking for another reason to choose LECOM, it was announced in our lecture today that LECOM has ordered 9 Cad/Cam machines and starting with the class of 2022 students will be learning to use Cad/Cam

This is HUGE considering most schools do not have this training and it will save you tons on overhead after graduation from having to train at cad/cam courses and will help you avoids lots of lab bills

Most schools don't have CAD/CAM?

News to me.

Yep it's true. The ortho docs at my school don't care for P/F because they say there's no way to differentiate people when they all have everything else being equal.
Anyways...good spec rates!
