LECOM acceptances yet?

I interviewed at LECOM-Erie at the end of September and still haven't heard from them yet! Has anyone gotten a letter who interviewed late September or later? Also, I've had some problems with the admissions staff (she basically yelled at me on the phone and told me I wasn't listening to her). Has anyone else had problems with them? I'm very discouraged because this is my first choice due to location. I have already been accepted to the Bradenton campus. Thanks for the input!

I interviewed there on 9/29 and have yet to hear anything from them. I was getting worried but feeling better knowing I'm not the only one. Thanks for the post! By the way, we were told at our interview not to call her as she will be busy. Just be patient.

I have heard there have been issues of no help in the office, but you guys are waiting an awfully long time compared to other schools (I just interviewed 10/17).

Something needs to start happening--they have to realize some people have/are getting multiple acceptances and need to be putting down deposits.
I know after I put a 1K or more deposit, I would be VERY reluctant to withdraw from that school. I am cheap and broke!!

1K is nothing 😉 compared to my 2K I have to send in for WVSOM. Seriously though they need to speed up the process over there. How hard can it be to shuffle their staffs around temporarily? Then again if it's a letter of rejection they're sending out to me they can take their time. 🙂

Ha,ha (re: Halloween)! People keep asking me, "So, have you heard anything?" Im like, "It has only been 2 weeks, there are people still waiting to hear from them and interviewed a month or more ago!" I don't anticipate hearing anything within 3 weeks like I was told at my interview now.

I interviewed on Oct 3 and by Oct 18 I had found out that I was accepted (Erie)! I was so excited because its the school that i wanted to go to. But it took less than 2 weeks!

👍 CONGRATS! That is awesome!

But 2 weeks? It is 5 weeks now for me... ugh. Why is it taking longer for us who interviewed at the end of September??? 🙁

For everyone waiting out there, I think I know what might be the issue for most of us. This only applies to those who have taken the August MCAT. Did you recieve an email from AACOMAS confirming your new scores have been distributed?

I JUST got a reciept from AACOMAS saying that they sent out my scores on October 26th (wow, it took them long enough, I sent my scores the day I got my scores back, two weeks before then). I was mistaken thinking that when AAMC sent the scores to AACOMAS I would be all set.

Sooo, I guess they have had my scores for about 10 days now, so I guess it will be here soon enough.

Ok, so I interviewed Oct. 13th.... I still haven't heard anything. My question is to those who have heard they got in this past week, when did you guess interview, when was the letter post marked and where do you guys live? Just getting a little anxious, ok a lot anxious 😱

I interviewed at LECOM-PA on 9/29 and just received an acceptance letter today, 11/10. The letter was postmarked on 11/07, however, the letter was dated as 11/04. It took them over a month! I guess that was reasonable as it took them 3 days to stuff the letter into an envelope and slap a stamp on it. So if you haven't heard from them yet don't give up hope. Good luck folks.

YEah. I did not realize that I had to officially release my scores and did in late october. I received an e-mail that AACOMAS sent my scores on Nov. 2.

I interviewed Oct. 3 and just got an acceptance letter this past Monday (11/7). I think it might have taken longer for my letter because I wanted PBL instead of LDP (and I got it, too)...maybe that's why some people got them so much sooner than me.
