I'm having a difficult time between these schools. Some of the factors that are currently playing a role:

1) Tuition: Touro will be about 80K more
2) Location: I am from California so my entire support system is here. I do not know where I potentially want to do a residency. I do love both locations.
3) Curriculum: PBL vs non mandatory lectures. I am very independent with studying, not a fan of lectures. I do feel as though I would be fine with either.

Any input would be helpful!

LECOM-B, but I have a very high level of disdain for Touro-CA. If your support system is worth the extra $$ then go where you feel the most comfortable.

LECOM B, tuition is cheaper, location IMO is better, and PBL is awesome

Touro ca, stay close to cali if u wanna live in cali again or match there and Bradenton isn't all what it's pent up to be, and their rotations are terrible from what I've heard

80k will get you a long way. Currently a student at Touro CA and I can tell you that I'm not quite sure what our tuition money goes into, despite us having higher than average tuition. Feel free to PM me if you want more on info on Touro

Seafood vs, um, seafood +Napa wine??

Stay where you are from. I cannot overstate how important family and a support system will be.

Also, LECOM-B has gaping holes in their curriculum/aka it is just a 2 year board review and "find your own preceptor" school. Even the lower tuition you pay isn't low enough for what you get.

I've heard from several students at LECOM B that they hate the administration and the whole year 3 and 4 situation. Not sure if refusing to pay for rotation spots at hospitals is worth the decreased tuition.

YES!! This is so important. 22% of the LECOM's Class of 2017 failed COMLEX Level-2 and many of them will not graduate on time. The curriculum has many holes it. Don't let the tuition fool you. The school is falling..fast
