It is to my understanding that the 3rd and 4th year 4 week rotations at LECOM-B could be all over the state of Florida, so where do students live for those 4 weeks? If you have a rotation in Miami, you can't really lease an apartment for only 4 weeks?

Generally you're at one site for all your core rotations - which generally means a main hospital and its affiliated clinics, generally in driving distance. When you travel to an elective, generally there's at least information, if not actual support, for finding convenient places to live. In general.

The only time you'll go "all over the state of Florida" is if you choose to do so. I have a friend who chose to go to Australia, California, Miami and other places-- but that was his choice. I chose to do a couple of away rotations in third year, but I purposely chose places that had free food and housing-- many of them do.

If you choose to live in Bradenton, though, you may have to do cores and electives in more than one place but you certainly don't have to go some place you don't want to go.

If you choose to stay in Bradenton for rotations would you have to move somewhere for 4wks or be able to continue to live in Bradenton while you do different rotations??

If you really want to stay in Bradenton you can, but due to the demand, it's likely that you'll end up rotating at several different nearby sites.

That doesn't sound to bad actually.
