I was accepted to LECOM, and am very excited to start, but I'm a graduate student, and don't think I can finish my thesis in time to start this year. I called LECOM about their deferment policy, since most schools allow you to defer for 1 year or more (like MSUCOM up to 3 years), but they say they don't allow deferments, unless their is a good explanation. They say I am going to have to submit a letter to the admissions commitee (I don't like the sounds of that). I'm just wondering if anyone has gone through the process, and what potential outcomes there are? They said I might just need to re-apply next year, but just as a formality, since I've already been accepted. Let me know what your experience has been. Thanks!
