Woohoo! First post.

I was just wondering if anyone just had some straight up numbers on either or both of these schools. I interviewed there and I can't seem to get a clear picture of either school's reputation.
So, I was wanting average GPA, MCAT, board pass rates/scores, attrition rates, things likes that. Anyone?

I did do a search....but everyone had different answers. I guess this will probably be the same. Any info appreciated, thanks!!

hey there "aphasia",

you should read my thread on: LECOM Vs TUCOM--has a lot of info about these schools and has a lot of insights and advices from other students... just last week I had a tough time deciding which school to send in my check to... I think that as long as you got interviewed your scores and gpa and mcat scores are already good enough for them, therefore it's no use pondering over these numbers and figures.
however, with board scores and etc it gets really tricky. from what I gather for TUCOM it's 85%, not the best but TUCOM does have good reputation with the matchings. For LECOM I am not sure. But if you browse around this forum a bit you'll probably find all the numbers you need. I think both LECOM and TUCOM have not much attrition compared to Western COMP and NYCOM (at least this is what I hear).
As for reputation, I think TUCOM and LECOM are both good med schools as anyone will tell you. Goodluck with everything!

Thanks for the reply. I had checked out your post earlier.
Congrats on getting accepted to both, I was just waiting to hear. I'm actually a TUCOM reapplicant, so I'm not sure if that helps me or hurts me.
I have an additional 20 hours of coursework with a 4.0 since my last interview.

I'm not sure why I wanted to know. I think it's b/c LECOM doesn't make public a lot of their information regarding matches and pass rates...seemed a little sketchy to me..eh.
